ANOD - BRIGHT N2
Chemical polishing agent for aluminium and its alloy

ANOD-BRIGHT-N2 is a chemical polishing agent which is a kind of phosphoric acid and nitric acid. And it has a following characteristics mixed with a special component

It enables to obtain special gloss comparable to electrolyte polishing.
It is useful in pure aluminium as well as its alloys except for a kind of silicon.
The occurrence of nitrous gas is seldom, or it does not occur,
....As compared with the chemical polishing solution which is a similar kind of phosphoric acid-nitric acid, the amount of nitrous gas occurring in chemical polishing is very small. And the amount of consumption of nitric acid can be reduced by improving the working condition of the past.
It is very simple to handle the solution.
It enables to handle the solution scientifically by the simple analysis developed by our company.
It is economical due to the improved life time.
The life time of the solution is economical because the allowable amount of the dissolved aluminium is high.
It is economical because the solution residues adhered to the surface of the polished objective is low.
When the special component is mixed, there is no stain even if exposing the surface-polished-body.

1.Buff polishing: In the case of requiring high gloss, buff polishing makes it possible to obtain the purpose of gloss.
2.Degreasing: There may be alkali, emulsion and solvent degreasing as a method of degreasing. However, use degreasing agent combined with sulfuric acid (ANOD-CHEAN-PASTE) whose cost is low.
3.Rinsing: Rinse it following.
4.Dipping in nitric acid: After rinsing, dip the objective in the distilled nitric acid, then move it to chemical polishing solution. The chemical polishing solution is more stable.
5.Chemical polishing: Dip in ANOD-BRIGHT-N2 solution.
6.Rinsing: Because the insufficient rinsing of the objective after chemical polishing leads to the phenomena involving "cloud" or "skittery", rinse enough after chemical polishing. (Especially, use the warm water for rinsing in winter)
7.Dipping in nitric acid: There is a "smart" depending on the objective, in such a case, it is useful to dip in the 10% distilled nitric acid before anodizing.
8.Rinsing: It needs rinsing after dipping in nitric acid of 7.

CAUTION : PRESERVE OF UNDER-POLISHING OBJECTIVE
After chemical polishing, there is no problem whenever anodizing. However, when neglecting it for a long time, there is a "cloudy" or "skittery" in the polished surface. Thus it is better to preserve it in 0.2% Cr acid solution.
